Built for Trusted Traveler Program applicants

Global Entry Appointment Scanner

Our Global Entry appointment scanner checks every enrollment center every few seconds and texts you the moment an interview slot opens. Skip the months-long wait without refreshing the TTP site.

What is a Global Entry appointment scanner?

A Global Entry appointment scanner is an automated service that continuously polls the Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) scheduling system for newly available interview slots. Instead of manually refreshing the TTP appointment page for weeks on end, our scanner watches every enrollment center in the country at once and sends you a text the instant a slot becomes bookable. Because cancellations vanish in seconds, a scanner is the only realistic way to catch the openings that actually shorten your wait.

How our scanner works

Four moving parts power every alert you receive.

1. Continuous polling

The scanner queries TTP availability for every Global Entry, NEXUS, and SENTRI enrollment center every few seconds — far faster than any human could refresh.

2. Location filtering

Pick up to three enrollment centers when you sign up. The scanner only texts you about slots that match your locations, so you don't drown in alerts for centers across the country.

3. Instant SMS alerts

The moment a matching slot appears, you receive a text with the date, time, location, and a direct link to book it on the TTP website.

4. You book the slot

We never book on your behalf — that would violate TTP terms. You log in to ttp.dhs.gov and grab the slot yourself, typically within a minute or two of the alert.

What our scanner monitors

  • Every Global Entry enrollment center in the United States, U.S. territories, and overseas preclearance locations.
  • NEXUS interview slots at every U.S.–Canada enrollment center.
  • SENTRI interview slots at every U.S.–Mexico enrollment center.
  • Conditional-approval interview openings, which are the slots most applicants actually need.
  • Newly added centers — the scanner picks up new locations automatically as TTP adds them.

Why use a scanner instead of refreshing TTP yourself?

Cancellations on the TTP site are claimed within seconds. By the time a notification email goes out or a forum thread mentions an opening, the slot is already taken. Manually refreshing helps only if you happen to refresh in the exact two- or three-second window the slot is live — and TTP rate-limits aggressive refreshing.

A scanner solves both problems. It runs 24 hours a day, watches every center simultaneously, and uses a polling cadence that stays well within TTP's acceptable use. Over a typical 30-day window, our users see dozens of openings they would never have caught by hand — many of them months earlier than their originally booked appointment.

Average alert delivery: under 30 seconds from slot appearance.

Scanner FAQ

Is this scanner affiliated with CBP or the TTP program?

No. GlobalEntryTexts is an independent service and is not affiliated with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Department of Homeland Security, or the Trusted Traveler Program. We simply read publicly available appointment availability and forward it to you by SMS.

How fast does the scanner alert me when a slot opens?

Typically under 30 seconds from the moment the slot appears in the TTP system. Twilio handles the SMS leg, which is generally instant on U.S. carriers.

Will the scanner book the appointment for me?

No. Auto-booking would violate TTP's terms of service and put your trusted-traveler status at risk. The scanner alerts you, and you book the slot yourself on ttp.dhs.gov.

Does the scanner also work as an interview scanner for NEXUS and SENTRI?

Yes. The same scanner monitors NEXUS and SENTRI interview slots in addition to Global Entry. Choose your program type when you sign up.
