Where it wins: The strongest feature set we found: a real free tier, five enrollment centers where everyone else stops at three, plus custom date ranges and auto-reactivating alerts that nobody else advertises. And it undercuts us by a whole penny.
Where it falls short: The free tier is email-only and single-center, so catching a fast cancellation still means paying.
Best for: People who want to try before paying, need more than three centers, or only want alerts for a specific date range.
Global Entry Spotter
Where it wins: Genuine mainstream press — NerdWallet and Thrifty Traveler have both published reviews — a live public activity feed showing real sightings, and strong review sentiment. Priced identically to us.
Where it falls short: Global Entry only: no NEXUS or SENTRI. SMS only. Three centers.
Best for: Global Entry applicants who want a same-priced SMS service with a longer public track record and don't need NEXUS or SENTRI.
Global Entry Alerts
Their site advertises two different prices for the same product at the same time: $19.99 in their FAQ and structured data, and $25 on their own checkout button. We can't confirm the actual amount charged without completing their checkout, so we won't state one.
Where it wins: By far the largest volume of independent reviews of any service in this market, and an unconditional money-back guarantee.
Where it falls short: Global Entry only. Their published pricing and location limits contradict themselves across their own pages — their homepage says up to 5 centers while their signup form says 3.
Best for: People who weight review volume heavily and are comfortable confirming the price at checkout themselves.
TTP Tracker
Publishes no price anywhere on its public pages. You'd have to sign up to find out.
Where it wins: The broadest program coverage of anyone, including Mexico-FAST and Canada-FAST that no other service touches, and free browser notifications.
Where it falls short: No published price. Its blog posts and homepage copyright have not been updated since 2023, though its wait-time pages do still refresh — so it's unclear how actively the paid product is maintained.
Best for: FAST applicants, who have essentially no other option.

Where it wins: The price floor of this entire market by an order of magnitude: free email alerts, and $2.99 once for text alerts. An indie project that is refreshingly open about its economics.
Where it falls short: Global Entry only. A small solo project — its newest dated content is from January 2024 — so it carries more key-person risk than the larger services.
Best for: Anyone price-sensitive who only needs Global Entry. At $2.99 for texts, it is the first thing to try before paying anyone $25.
You might not need to pay anyone

There isn't a single best one — it depends on what you need, and any page telling you otherwise is selling something. Is GlobalEntryTexts legit?
We're a real, independently operated service: $25 once for 30 days of SMS alerts across Global Entry, NEXUS, and SENTRI, billed through Stripe, with a money-back guarantee if we find no appointments at your selected centers. We never ask for your TTP login, and we can't and don't book appointments for you — that would violate TTP's terms. We're not affiliated with CBP or DHS. Are these services worth paying for at all?
Not always. Free open-source bots poll the same public data we do, and some paid services have free email tiers. The honest case for paying is narrow: free tiers are almost always email-only, and email is where an alert gets read twenty minutes after the slot is gone, while the free bots need a machine you keep running 24/7. If neither of those is a problem for you, use a free option.
Do any of these services book the appointment for you?
No, and you should be suspicious of any that claims it does. Automated booking violates the Trusted Traveler Program's terms of service and could put your application at risk. Every service here alerts you, and you book on ttp.dhs.gov yourself.
Which services cover NEXUS and SENTRI?
